“The assumption is that your body works like an equation, that you can just subtract 500 calories from one side of the calorie equation – so if you just subtract 500 calories from the calories inside, the calories outside don’t change. That’s 100%, unequivocally, not disputed by anyone who knows anything about human biology, false. If you eat 500 fewer calories, you will burn fewer calories. Bottom line, you will be cold, you will be tired, you will be hungry, your brain will be foggy.”
